Looking back at 2024
Hello All
Here’s a short selection of articles from the last year.
The body scan practice was by far the most read post this year and the others I’ve shared below were some of the more popular articles or ones that I felt captured what it is I wanted to say by starting this newsletter in the first place.
I’ll likely move to posting less often in the new year but will certainly be keeping the newsletter going with articles on mindfulness and wellbeing, news on upcoming courses and 1:1 availability and also sharing my photography (fingers crossed for better light in 2025!).
Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year!
Here is a recent recording of a body scan meditation (+ the photo for the thumbnail is one of my favourites)
A post on the importance of finding your own language to talk about your mental health.
So much of mindfulness is just reminding ourselves to take an interest in our surroundings, snapping out of the autopilot that often leads to rumination and missing out on what is around us.
Taking an Interest
I often find it hard to write about concepts in mindfulness - they really do need to be experienced - but every now and then when I’m out and about I’ll see a real world reminder of an idea.
One of the first pieces I wrote for this newsletter on moving past feeling out of place when it comes to practising mindfulness.
Who Is Mindfulness For?
I love classical music and film scores (any Ennio Morricone fans reading?).
