Hello All
Something I’ve been doing the last few weeks is going back through old journals, books and photos and taking whatever useful bits of information, insight, or just old memories from them.
I ended up coming across a lot of quotes that I’d saved - I keep a note on my phone full of quotes - and thought I’d share a few that stood out for me along with a few photos I came across.
Some of the quotes are to do with mindfulness and meditation and some are just about life in general.
There are probably as many interpretations of these as there are people who read them so instead of giving my understanding of them I thought I’d just list them and let you make of them what you will.
One suggestion though, is to begin by just reading and instead of immediately jumping to trying to make sense of the words, taking note of what you experience as you read.
The intellectual side of the mind is already pretty good at figuring out the logical meaning of things. We can also, however, get a felt sense of what we experience.
Pay attention to:
Physical sensations
Impulses
Thoughts
Emotions
We can always come back later and dig deeper into the meaning of the words.

P.S.
I offer a free 30 min 1:1 session online that you can book here.
I always aim to give people something practical they can take away from the first session whether that is a recording of a guided meditation or some other skills they can try out for themselves day-to-day.
If you’re interested in seeing more wildlife photos/videos then check out my Instagram or take a look at the images I have for sale over on Picfair.
I recently wrote down the quote by Archilochus as well! Are the photos yours?
